So what are SYFC up to in your school?
Swindon Academy
You will find the SYFC team working with the school chaplaincy team delivering school assemblies, getting involved in lessons, running mentoring workshops and sessions, running activities in the Faith Room and hanging around in the school at lunchtimes.
The Chatroom runs on a Wednesday lunchtime.
Rock Solid runs on Thursdays from 3:15-4:00.
Nova Hreod
The Nova Chatroom runs on a Thursday lunchtime every week. The amazing Rock Solid club runs afterschool on a Thursday and you will find the team in the Atrium every Friday lunchtime and sometimes taking your assembly!
Kingsdown
The Kingsdown Chatroom runs on a Thursday lunchtime in room A1.2 and is a great place to ask all the questions you may have about the Christian faith. You can also find the team in the playgrounds on Monday lunchtimes and in school assemblies.
Churchfields
The SYFC team run the Churchfields Chatroom every Tuesday lunchtime every week in Room 1F30, why not come and say hello and get involved.
Churchfields Rock Solid club runs every Monday 3:15-4:30pm at Queens Drive Methodist Church. Its free and for anyone in school yrs 7-9. See the poster here.
We also get invited in to take assemblies in school and sometimes lessons too!
Commonweal
The Commonweal Chatroom runs on a Wednesday lunchtime every week in Room 06. We also get invited in to take assemblies and sometimes lessons too!
Dorcan Technology College
Every Monday lunchtime you can find us in the year 7 conservatory – please come and say hello. Rock Solid runs for years 7&8 after school on a Monday in the Languages Staff Room from 3:00-4:00pm – a great way to start your week.
Crowdys Hill
You will spot us from time to time coming in to say hello.
St Lukes
You will spot us every other Friday doing some small group work with year 7.
Lydiard Park Academy
In LPA we work in partnership with Dave Davison the Youth and Schools worker for Freshbrook Church. You’ll see him around the school, please chat to him about the exciting things he is running for students in school.
Braydon Forest
Local youthworkers can be found in school taking assemblies, mentoring students and running other exciting things.
Warneford
The Experience lunchtime club runs every Friday lunchtime 12:30 – 13:30pm in Room 9 and is run by Ruth and Susie from the Highworth Churches.
Ridgeway
Look out for Kayleigh from Discovery Church who is often in school doing various exciting things.
