Pray For Schools
Our vision is simple, we are striving to try to ensure that Every Swindon School Is A Prayed For School.
Are you praying for your local school? Do you know where your local school is? Is your church praying for it’s local school?
Every year we gather Christians, Teachers, Church Leaders and School Support Staff and Governors from across the town. We pray together for the schools of Swindon and commission those who work in schools.
The next Pray for Schools event will be on the 15th October 2012 7:30-9:30 at Gorse Hill Baptist Church
Please do pray for your local school and encourage your church to do so too.
Why not:
- Write the to headteacher of your local school to let him know you are praying for the school?
- Deliver a box of chocolates to the school staffroom at Christmas with a card attached thanking the staff for their hard work that year.
- Mention your local school in the prayer section of your church notice sheet or church service.
- Collect vouchers from the major supermarkets and send them as a gift to your local school, this will help them to receive free equipment and resources.
- Encourage your friends and church congregation to attend and support the annual Pray for Schools prayer and commissioning event.
